Although Windows Live Messenger offers the possibility to create an emoticon from any image, the final quality and the size are not the best and most times we don't like the results.

Emoticon Maker is a lite application that allows you to create an emoticon from any picture, it supports BMP, JPEG, GIF and PNG.

Select the area of the picture you want to transform into icon and how it will be: animated or static. Before that, you'll be able to rotate the picture to fit the icon perfectly.

When you'll have finished it, save the creation in any folder and then go to Windows Live Messenger and share it.
